Our History in Christian Service
Visionaries International is the missions and ministry arm of Visionaries Inc., founded in 1972 by Dr. E. Leroy and Evelyn Baker. Since then, we’ve been helping those in ministry by providing support and leadership training, and by directing team projects.
Our Work in Christian Service
The work of Visionaries International is multifaceted, and everything we do falls under the umbrella of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. As an organization, we have a commitment of staying true to what God has given us to do. Our role is to be a friend and encourager to those doing the work of ministry on the front lines.

Our Leadership Team
Board of Trustees
Our Board of Trustees oversee policies, objectives, and finances. Trustees serve Visionaries Inc. (our parent organization) and Visionaries International. Its membership represents multiple generations of our founding family, as well as non-family members.
Curtis Baker, President/Director
Curtis has a love and compassion for people. He is a creative leader with over forty years’ experience pastoring churches, leading organizations and coaching leaders. A master teacher/preacher, Curtis is most at home in the remote places of underdeveloped countries, meeting with associates and training Christian leaders.
Karlene A., Administrative Assistant
Karlene handles daily operations in our organization’s home office. She has worked in the Christian nonprofit arena her entire adult life. In 2010, she made trips to Latin America and Haiti that changed her forever. That same year, she joined the work of Visionaries International.
Jo Baker, Special Projects/Prayer
Jo is a vital addition to the Visionaries International team, overseeing special projects and prayer initiatives. Across our organization and around the world, she is recognized as a woman of prayer and spiritual maturity.
Ministry Partners in Christian Service
We work with those doing the work of Christian ministry both around the world and in the USA. These Christian leaders share a common vision and play an active role in the mission of our organization.
We do not take credit for the work or success of those we partner with, but we rejoice with them in what God allows us to accomplish together.
